Most Common Issues & Solutions (All Models)

• No mist or not turning on: Ensure water tank is full and correctly seated; check power cord and outlet; clean the base.
• Low or no mist output: Clean the ultrasonic transducer or wick with vinegar solution; use distilled water to prevent mineral buildup.
• White dust on surfaces: Switch to distilled or demineralized water; replace the demineralization cartridge if equipped.
• Loud noise or gurgling sound: Check water level; clean air intake and fan; place unit on a flat, level surface.
• Leaking water: Inspect tank for cracks and ensure the silicone seal is properly seated.
• Red light or error indicator: Clean sensors; refill tank; descale the unit.

Smart Wi-Fi & App-Controlled Models (2022–2025)

• Wi-Fi not connecting: Reset the humidifier (hold power button for 10 seconds); ensure 2.4GHz network; re-add in VeSync app.
• App not showing humidity: Check sensor cleanliness; restart router and humidifier.

Warm Mist Models

• No warm mist or heating: Check heating element; ensure unit has enough water.
• Strong plastic smell (new unit): Run several cycles with water only in a well-ventilated area.

Top Fill & Large Capacity Models

• Difficulty filling: Use the top-fill spout carefully; avoid overfilling.
• Mold or musty odor: Clean tank and base weekly with vinegar; replace filters regularly.
