  2. Weekly Cleaning:
    • Unplug the humidifier and remove the water tank.
    • Clean the tank with a soft brush and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
    • Wipe the base and mist nozzle with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the base.
    • Clean the essential oil tray separately with warm water.
  3. Monthly Deep Cleaning:
    • Fill the tank with a mixture of 1 cup white vinegar and 1 gallon water. Let sit for 20 minutes.
    • Scrub gently, rinse multiple times until vinegar smell is gone.
    • For the base, pour 2 cups of clean water mixed with 1 teaspoon of vinegar into the water chamber. Run the humidifier for 30 minutes, then empty and rinse.
  4. Descaling: Use a commercial descaling agent or vinegar solution monthly if using hard water.

CAUTION! Always unplug before cleaning. Never use abrasive cleaners or submerge the base in water.

Using Essential Oils

The humidifier includes a dedicated essential oil tray for aromatherapy.

  1. Ensure the humidifier is turned off and unplugged.
  2. Pull out the essential oil tray located on the side of the unit.
  3. Add 3-5 drops of 100% pure essential oils into the tray. Do not exceed 10 drops.
  4. Slide the tray back into place securely.
  5. Turn on the humidifier. The mist will carry the aroma through the room.
