Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup. Unplug before cleaning.

  1. Daily: Empty and rinse the tank if not in use for more than 24 hours.
  2. Weekly Cleaning:
    • Unplug the unit and remove the tank.
    • Clean the tank and base with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Do not submerge the base in water.
    • Use a cotton swab to clean the mist outlet and sensor opening.
    • Rinse thoroughly with clean water and air dry completely before reassembly.
  3. Descaling (Monthly or as needed):
    • Mix white vinegar and water (1:1) and pour into the tank. Let sit for 15-20 minutes.
    • Gently scrub the interior with a soft brush, then rinse multiple times with clean water until vinegar smell is gone.
  4. Filter Care: The Classic 300S uses a demineralization filter (optional). Replace filter every 3-6 months or as indicated by the app.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or harsh chemicals. Do not immerse the base in water. Ensure all parts are completely dry before use.

Using Essential Oils

The humidifier includes a dedicated essential oil tray. Do not add oils directly to the water tank.

  1. Ensure the humidifier is off and unplugged.
  2. Pull out the essential oil tray located on the side of the base.
  3. Add 2-3 drops of water-soluble essential oil onto the tray's absorbent pad.
  4. Slide the tray back into place.
  5. Operate the humidifier as normal. The mist will carry the aroma.

WARNING! Use only 100% pure, water-soluble essential oils. Do not use fragrance oils, chemicals, or thick oils. Clean the tray regularly to prevent clogging.
