Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on a flat, stable, and level surface away from direct sunlight and electronics.

1. Remove the water tank from the base.
2. Fill the tank with clean, cool tap water or distilled water (recommended). Do not exceed MAX fill line.
3. Securely reattach the tank to the base, ensuring it sits properly.
4. Plug the power adapter into the humidifier and then into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use with damaged cord or plug. Keep cord away from heated surfaces. Always place on a water-resistant surface.

First-Time Use

Power on the humidifier; the digital display will illuminate.

1. Set desired humidity: Press the HUMIDITY button to cycle between 40%, 50%, 60%, and AUTO (recommended).
2. Adjust mist level: Press the MIST button to select Low, Medium, or High output.
3. Set timer (optional): Press TIMER to set 1-12 hours, after which the unit will turn off.
4. Toggle night light: Press the LIGHT button to turn the soft blue night light On or Off.

CAUTION! Use only clean, cool water. Never add water through the mist outlet. Ensure the unit is on a stable surface to prevent tipping.

Controls and Settings

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral deposits. Unplug before any maintenance.

1. Daily: Empty and refill tank with fresh water if not used continuously.
2. Weekly Cleaning: Disassemble tank and base. Clean all parts with a soft cloth and mild detergent or white vinegar solution. Rinse thoroughly.
3. Demineralization Cartridge: Replace every 2-3 months or as needed (model LV450S-F).
4. Dry all components completely before reassembly and storage.

WARNING! Never immerse base unit in water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemicals.

Using Essential Oils

The LV450S includes a dedicated essential oil tray. Do not add oils directly to the water tank.

1. Ensure humidifier is off and unplugged.
2. Pull out the essential oil tray located on the side of the base.
3. Add 3-5 drops of your preferred 100% pure essential oil to the tray pad.
4. Slide the tray back into place. The mist will carry the aroma.

CAUTION! Use only pure essential oils. Do not exceed 5 drops. Clean the tray regularly to prevent clogging.
